Daniel Petropulos - Managing Director

Background

As Managing Director, Daniel leads the delivery of all services to clients of Platinum Accountants.

After graduating from UWA with a Bachelor of Commerce and triple major in Financial Accounting, Corporate Finance and Money & Banking, Daniel commenced his career in public practice in the area of audit for a "Big 4" accounting firm.  It wasn't long before Daniel realised that he wanted to invest his time and knowledge in a field that would also serve as a useful benefit to his personal business interests, his family and friends, and the more common individual or small business. This, he realised, was in the area of business services and taxation.

Daniel has since worked as a tax accountant and business advisor for several Chartered Accounting firms over the years and specialises in the areas of income tax, capital gains tax, duties tax, GST, superannuation, tax planning, consulting, business structuring, estate planning, residential and commercial property, asset protection, ATO conciliations, and strategic advice.

Daniel's motivation is driven by his passion to help others.  To better service his clients, it is not uncommon for Daniel to spend considerable time after-hours studying and analysing various macroeconomic markets and investment vehicles including property, shares and superannuation as well as anticipate movements in policies and laws of banks and governments, both in Australia and the rest of the world.

Daniel is committed to leading his clients towards financial independence, and believes that effective tax management is just one of many core attributes to do so. It is with such a wide range of business knowledge, that clients are provided with the "full picture" on how to get the most out of their businesses, finances and investments and the flexibility to do so in a way in which meets their lifestyle.
